Serene synth drones in the wake of a rumbling harsh noise, hymns emerging as they slip through abstractly undulating modular textures, and then silence — a string of soundlessness. A CD album containing two pieces completed over the course of some three years. The new album from Swiss experimental electronic music artist SAELE VALESE, who has also released on ALVA NOTO's 〈NOTON〉!

Catalogue number one from 〈KLAMM〉, the label newly founded by SAELE VALESE — who runs 〈JSMЁ RECORDS〉 (home to releases by HTRK and OSSIA) and is also known as IVIC — to release his own acoustic work! Though a CD, it features long-form pieces of 20 minutes and 39 seconds per "side." The A side moves from industrial noise to land in drone, unfolding with fierce intensity. The B side offers consolation through delicate modular synthesis. The use of silence common to both sides, and the dynamics of the sound, are enough to give you goosebumps. Mastered by RASHAD BECKER.
