• Maylee Todd is a multidisciplinary artist working in songwriting, production, performance art, dance, 3-D projection mapping, and curation. Maloo is her Stones Throw debut.

• Maloo is a visionary record inspired by ideas from science fiction, futurism, and psychology.
• Maloo was composed on a Japanese sequencer called the Tenori-on, and refined with album co-producer Kyvita, inspired by Japanese ambient music and video sound design.
• The album campaign will include animated and VR videos, graphic novel content, digital fashion content, and more, all created by Maylee herself

Singer-producer MAYLEE TODD, who cites Japanese ambient music and video games as influences. She apparently uses YAMAHA's Tenori-on as well, resulting in gentle electronics and a DIY feel that draws a clear line between her and hyperpop — dream pop, in short. The friendly, inviting melodies make it excellent as pop music too. Chill and uniquely constructed soundscapes. The music videos also lay bare the deranged quality of present-day entertainment.
