From the prestigious 〈Rush Hour〉 comes "N.A.D.," a project by legendary UK DJ/producer Mustafa Ali! A futuristic electro-techno EP that blends an electro sound clearly steeped in Detroit techno with his own sci-fi imagination!!

Mustafa Ali, aka L.E. Bass, is a legendary DJ/producer who had an enormous impact on the UK dance music scene: in 1988 one of his tracks was picked up by DJ Jazzy M's radio show "The Jacking Zone," which spread '80s soul, funk and boogie, and tracks he wrote after being invited in by BPM Records owner Tony Thorpe caused quite a stir. This is an electro-techno EP brimming with sci-fi imagination from N.A.D. (New Age Dance), the project Mustafa Ali launched around 1990. A1 "Cometh The Butlerian Jihad" (Sample 1) takes the 2002 sci-fi novel "Dune: The Butlerian Jihad" as its motif, unfolding a futuristic, combative electro sound. B1 "Utopia / Dystopia" (Sample 2), which fuses exotic electronic tones [Utopia] and aggressive electro synths [Dystopia] until the two are indistinguishable, is superbly conceptual—a must-hear.
