Following his work with IAN O'BRIAN as the duo “MEMORY TREE,” veteran British artist SILVERLINING—who has enjoyed a strong following since the ’90s—is releasing his first solo 12-inch in two years on his own label, 〈NEOTROPIQ〉! The track is a deep tech-house track inspired by both the US house vibes of MOOD II SWING and the elegant synth sounds of early WARP.

A house production from SILVERLINING, who last year released their first-ever album—in their 25-year career—on their flagship label, 〈SILVERLINING DUBS〉! The release kicks off with “The Lumberjack’s Call” (sample 1), which blends swinging drums and soul samples with a classic US house vibe, followed by “Tepozteco” (sample 2), featuring a memorable, languid horn synth chord progression.
