The band's name comes from the initials of "Strength, Trust, Unity and Determination." Leader and trumpeter Robert Blount had a tough career, including a brief stint as a touring member with JB in the '70s and two years in L.T.D. before they broke big. (That rebellious "beat L.T.D." spirit is baked right into the band name...) The rhythm section is deep and seriously cool — you'd want to hear much more from them, but grown-up circumstances meant this was their only release.
