COMPUMA's first album under his solo name, "A View," now gets a video work built around its live performance, released on DVD! The release party held at Shibuya WWW (September 30, 2022). Naoyuki Uchida's live dub mix, visuals by Kiyotaka Sumiyoshi, and live audio reconstructing the album — all interacting with one another. The atmosphere of the venue itself has been packaged here as well.

電子の大海から手探りで探し当てた＜わたし＞が確かに此処にいる。外界との境界こそがユーロラックという＜家屋＞であるならば、モジュールをパッチングする行為は＜生活＞そのものである。そして新調した衣服に脱ぎ変えるように＜自己＞は組み換え可能であるということを、シンセサイザーはいつもヒソヒソと我々に耳打ちしてくれるのだ…。そう、ここに映し出された世界は我々のオルター・エゴそのものではないか？ COMPUMAは貴方で、そして私自身なのだ!!!!!!!!

As a DJ, as a member of Akuma no Numa, and as a buyer here at our shop, COMPUMA has long presided over Japan's underground music scene — and now the live audio and video from the release party for his first-ever album under his solo name have been shaped into a brand-new video work! The visuals, working with water as a formless material, draw you visually into the world of the record. A dub mix and performance that reflect the air of the venue — the three elements come together as one. It's fascinating how it expands the territory of electronic music with an approach quite different from the album's. In addition to the main DVD program, a download code is included for the self-remix "View 2 Electro" (sample 3), available only with this DVD.
