Glasgow’s renowned label *Numbers.* features such notable artists as Jamie XX, Randomer, DJ Deeon, and Sophie. This 12-inch release comes from Jackmaster, a highly skilled artist who, in addition to running the label, performs numerous gigs around the world as a DJ. While he is gaining recognition as a producer through releases on labels such as 〈Tdsr〉 and 〈CircoLoco〉, this release comes via the eccentric Seth Troxler’s new label, 〈Slacker 85〉. It’s a collaboration with Jasper James—whose release on 〈ESP Institute〉 was also outstanding—featuring the high-energy A2 track “Freaky Like That” (Sample 1). It also features a remix exceeding 14 minutes in length by Amsterdam master Tom Trago, based at 〈RUSH HOUR〉: B1. “Let’s Go (Tom Trago Extended Remix)” (Sample 2).
