A live recording of turntablism using a huge stash of self-cut dub plates, with percussion performance added on top. A collaboration between sound artist MARINA ROSENFELD, avant-garde drummer GREG FOX, and percussionist ELI KESZLER! Algorithmic composition and improvised drumming coexist here. A masterwork that can be enjoyed from three angles: electroacoustic, free jazz, and experimental music.
Track List

An experimental project from sound artist MARINA ROSENFELD — renowned for her works on ROOM40 and SHELTER PRESS as well as her collaborations with BEN VIDA — gets a physical release. Turntablism built from her own archive of self-cut dub plates, including acetate test pressings. Grounded in algorithmic composition, yet improvisation arises spontaneously in the gap between mechanical playback and the material distortion of the medium. Following along are the free-form drums and percussion of two rhythm experimentalists, GREG FOX and ELI KESZLER. Dynamics are written into the score, resulting in a performance full of depth and presence. Limited pressing. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
