The second installment of "MAURIZIO E DANDOLO," the '80s Italo disco homage project from MARCELLO GIORDANI (MARVIN & GUY) x COSIMO MANDORINO! Once again, artists from the Naples "EARLY SOUNDS" circle come together. The sound is so faithful to peak-era Italo that you'd believe it was a reissue — a restoration of pure melancholy. Collage-style playfulness, like self-censoring bleeps and scratching, adds an offbeat character all its own.

A unique tribute project from musicians active around "EARLY SOUNDS" — the backbone of the Italian disco/synth funk scene — and SLOW MOTION RECORDS! A stellar lineup with DANIEL MONACO on bass, ALESSIO PIGNORIO on guitar, and FRANCISCO handling the remix. "Demin" (sample1) is an Italo boogie number singing of summertime nostalgia over supremely cheesy synths, a LinnDrum, and sticky-sweet vocals. That classic Italo trope — the mysterious rap section that makes you blush a little — is perfectly recreated too. Great sleeve art, as well. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
