A full-length album reportedly written and recorded between the death of Yoshi Wada—a pioneer of drone music, a member of Fluxus, and both a father and a collaborator—and the birth of his daughter. With glimpses of shoegaze and indie psychedelic elements, a playful spirit, and a high-level engagement with influences from raga and drone music—as well as elements cultivated through contemporary and experimental music—this album embodies an awakened New Age and the budding worldview of a new psychedelia. It’s hard to put into words, but I’m truly amazed. Definitely give it a listen. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
