A cover of the cult folk ballad "Come Wander With Me" — used in the final episode of The Twilight Zone, the landmark sci-fi anthology TV series — rendered with cutting-edge vocal synthesis! The latest entry in the limited 7-inch series from 〈MODERN LOVE〉, already the talk of the town thanks to releases by ANDY STOTT and JAMAL MOSS. Here comes LUCY DUNCOMBE, a musician also known for her work on Glasgow's synthesizer-sound hotspot 〈12TH ISLE〉.

The A-side, "Sunset, She Exclaims" (sample1), abstracts BONNIE BEECHER's cult folk song "Come Wander With Me" (1964) — heard in the final episode of the American TV series The Twilight Zone, which began airing in 1959 — into twilight harmonies via vocal synthesizer. And the B-side is just as wonderful: languid deconstructions of hyperpop, glitch and avant-R&B, mellow and otherworldly. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
