Giulio Erasmus has worked as a member of D.U.D.S and Handle, and has been releasing solo material since 2021. His latest album last year featured the singular Maoupa Mazzocchetti, making him an artist worth watching. He also draws attention as the son of Alan Erasmus, co-founder of Factory Records. On this performance, delivered on a warm night in Eupen, Belgium in August 2024, he takes the '80s post-punk sound system coursing through his DNA and develops it in his own direction, weaving electronics and vocals through minimal melodies for an exploratory, free-form, uncompromising set.
