Track List

From live recordings to commissioned studio pieces, an electroacoustic experiment that resonates with brutalism. Seven works survey the past twelve years of his activity. "Low Fidelity" (sample1) was commissioned by dancer/choreographer Anna Koch for the performance Insisting On. "The True Laptop Quartet" (sample2), commissioned for a project by electroacoustic artist/instrument builder Tarek Atoui, is a structural endurance test of feedback using instruments built on the principle of electromagnetic feedback. "Light Vessel 21" (sample3) is a collaboration with Anna Koch presented as an audiovisual installation aboard LV21, a historic vessel once stationed off the coast of Kent. Also included is "Shadow of the Dutchman," created to perform the overture to Wagner's opera with three pianos and live electronics. Mastered by Russell Haswell, produced by Joachim Nordwall. Intelligent and hardcore. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
