Their 2016 predecessor "Biometric" on the same label was killer too, but this new one, "Pressure EP" — a comeback record arriving three years later — is just as great!!! It sold out almost immediately after its 2019 release, so this repress is very welcome news.
A1 "Pressure" (sample1) is a masterful percussive electronic stepper-tech cut at 127 BPM, with heavyweight sub-bass, weighty kicks and screwed synths beckoning you out into deep space; B1 "Dreamscape" (sample2) runs at 128 BPM, cutting floaty synths and dubwise vocal samples into razor-sharp minimal, percussive spatial breaks; and B2 "Whistle Blower" (sample3) at 126 BPM, an industrial, percussive, bleepy trip pulsing through outer space, is superb as well.
