The 1979 second album from this instrumental progressive group out of Colmar in France's Alsace region. Unique funky grooves built on symphonic rock that spans spacey jazz-rock through jazz/fusion. Limited edition clear vinyl LP in a gatefold sleeve. Psychedelic, thick and gooey progressive funk that somehow calls Funkadelic to mind, with fusion-tinged crossover arrangements and jaw-dropping ensemble chops that will draw you right in.
Track List

The masterful European French progressive ensemble work woven together by four members: keyboardist Philippe Wendling, guitarist Bernard Labroche, bassist Gigi Untersinger, and drummer Gianni Drago. A 2025 reissue of "Second," the Wlud classic that upon its 1979 release found success not only in France but overseas as well (particularly in the US and Japan). Six tracks in all. Highlights include A3 "Nemausus" (sample2), a psychedelic, thick and gooey progressive funk workout that somehow recalls Funkadelic's Bernie Worrell and Eddie Hazel, and B1 "Ay" (sample3), a fusion-tinged jazzy psychedelic rocker — both real grabbers.
