This album was created as the soundtrack to Fabrizio Terranova's documentary film 'Josée Andrei - An Insane Portrait,' which profiles an astonishing figure: blind from birth, yet a witch, painter, photographer and tarot reader who also holds degrees in psychology and modern literature. Recorded by just two original members of the ever-shifting Fan Club Orchestra — which at times swelled to ten players — Laurent Baudoux and Ann Appermans, it's a suite of delicate, carefully woven melodic instrumentals. Seven warmly inviting tracks running from synth ambient to lo-bit drum-machine pop psychedelia, with the digital edition adding one bonus track not included on the original release.
