This third volume, whose title translates as "impressions of various islands," is based on recordings and inspirations drawn from three Macaronesian archipelagos (the Azores, Cape Verde, and the Canary Islands). Water caves, black-stone beaches and lagoons, everyday scenes at small harbors: raw field recordings captured in real environments are interwoven with processed sound and synthesized landscapes, yielding a weather-worn sound world where nostalgic melodies, ghostly textures, and moments verging on musique concrète surface and vanish in a daydream haze.
