Drawing on the influence of Brazilian funk masters Hermeto Pascoal and Airto Moreira, as well as such Italian contemporaries as Franco Califano, Lucio Battisti, Panella, Enzo di Domenico and Gennaro D'Auria, he explores the space between jazz, funk, and Balearic cosmic disco improvisation, unfolding a one-of-a-kind cinematic, soulful crossover sound world that links Naples, Tunis and Beirut. On the B-side, "Baid Alik" (sample 2), featuring Tunisian singer Marzouk Mejri, a new musical world of Habibi Funk-style Balearic disco rapping boogie modernity funks along with real elegance.
