"Aima" (sample 1), inspired by the chants of Nigeria’s Igbo people; "Drom Tradisie" (sample 2), where the TR-303 guides you into the distance amidst the melodies of the traditional kora and a Maasai children’s chorus (the artist reportedly said it reminded him of Quechua); and "Third Eye Dub" (sample 3), featuring the Persian (Iranian) string instrument the oud—a first attempt at an Arabic-style beat. Actually, every track is usable. He’s polished his own ideas to create even more original grooves, yet the underlying foundation remains his unique elegance and that loose, ethereal acid vibe.
