Selected for Pitchfork's "The 30 Best Electronic Albums of 2025." A 2025 release from Baltimore artist Jeremy Hyman, who has backed the likes of Boredoms, Animal Collective, and Dan Deacon on drums but revealed a whole new talent with his releases on Future Times! Exquisite alternative floating ambient grooves.
Track List

Jeremy's past work on Future Times became a cult hit among certain DJs and showed there was more to him than just drumming.
Techno? House? Are these even dance tracks at all? This new one is eclectic enough to raise those questions, yet it's unmistakably the floating / alternative groove of the Future Times lineage. The restrained note count lends an air of elegance, while analog synth tones bring a natural, organic feel. Just as the cover art and title suggest, a hushed, rarefied atmosphere hangs over the whole record — exquisite ambient techno. Plenty of five- to six-minute tracks make it great for listening, too.
