A culmination of the solo work of Galina Juritz, a classically trained violinist who has performed in bands and ensembles such as ShhArt Ensemble and Inclementine, as well as in various lineups with leading musicians of the Cape Town and Johannesburg classical and jazz scenes. Citing influences including Louis Cole, Matthew Herbert, Darkside, Thundercat, Eiko Ishibashi, ECM and Oliver Coates, she deploys gorgeous string composition and arrangement across 13 brilliant tracks that move freely and with dizzying elegance between contemporary classical, new jazz, R&B, techno, electronica and ambient.
