The first collaborative work between Robert Lippok, the central figure of German post-rock band To Rococo Rot, and Anushka Chkheidze, an electronica artist from Tbilisi, Georgia, arrives on 〈Morr Music〉. Lippok's warm compositional sensibility crosses paths with Chkheidze's freewheeling beat programming to yield a melancholic, entrancing third sound. Yellow vinyl.

Two artists of different generations and backgrounds chose to record in a bare-bones rehearsal space, generating a raw, tactile feel through real-time composition and performance. Drawing on the vocabulary of minimal music and late-'90s to early-2000s electronica, they layer delicate beats, wistful organ drones, piano, distortion, and inviting melodies, slowly expanding the space around them. The tracks share motifs and resonances with one another, and the album unfolds along a distinctive, undulating timeline that seems made for looping. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
