We're stocking releases direct from the label from That's Love Records, a label born out of the US West Coast oldies and sweet soul scene that's producing such wonderful music, run by Alejandro Garcia of Thee Sacred Souls and Max Shrager of The Shacks. This one is a collaboration between Polish singer and multi-instrumentalist Cinnamon Gum and Max Shrager.

That’s Love Records is proud to present the latest 45 from Cinnamon Gum, recorded in collaboration with producer Max Shrager (54 Ultra, Céline Dessberg), entitled “Sweet Honey” b/w “Nothing That I Know.” The A-side delivers a tasty spoonful of upbeat soul, while the B-side is a tender ballad showcasing Cinnamon Gum’s soaring falsetto and finely tuned melodic sensibilities.
Singer Cinnamon Gum traces his roots to childhood, when his musician father crossed the Atlantic time and again, bringing home treasures that were nearly impossible to find in Poland at the time — cinnamon-flavored chewing gum and soul music CDs. Produced by Max Shrager, this is a superb record where those roots meet the sweet soul sound inherited from The Shacks. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
