He began creating his own beats in middle school, and during high school, he played many instruments—including guitar, keyboard, and bass—and gained a following by posting his music on SoundCloud and YouTube. Following the pandemic, he released the collaborative project “GEMS IN THE CORNERSTORE” with J. Robb. As a singer, songwriter, producer, and video director, he’s an artist garnering attention for his unique, genre-spanning musical style. He’s also been hailed by a major media outlet as “one of the most talented singer-songwriters in the Bay Area,” further cementing his reputation.
This album reflects influences ranging from Caribbean music and dance to ambient and left-field electronic sounds. I highly recommend “Natural” (sample_1), which truly captured my heart. It features catchy, classic chord progressions and a moving melody that stays with you—it’s excellent. The album opens with “Rogue Heart,” featuring a hook that floats lightly over a breakbeat and a bouncy flow, and includes a total of 12 tracks, such as the smooth falsetto jam “Circles,” the jazzy ballad “Stereo Blasting,” and the twilight mid-tempo track “Hyundai” (sample_3).
