"Anxiety," taken from a 7-inch by the Belgian '70s band North South East West — a record known only among the most dedicated diggers — released on the French label Biram (the label of Jean Kluger, who also worked in YAMASUKI with Daniel Vangarde, father of Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter).

This time we’re serving up a Balearic, under-the-radar sunset jam from obscure Belgian outfit North South East West. Soulful, warm, and effortlessly cool, it’s the kind of track that makes you want to quit your job and move to somewhere hotter.
To stretch out the magic, we called on Peckham’s finest, Medlar, who turns in a dubbed-out, spacey flip that sends the original into orbit. It’s deep, trippy, and built for the mix — you’ll want two copies just to keep it going.

A release on Biram, the label that was home to the Gibson Brothers, L.A.X. and Yamasuki. Issued in 1975 on the label run by Jean Kluger, a Belgian musician active in both Belgium and France. Kluger was involved in the writing and production of many Biram releases, but this record carries no credits, so the details remain a mystery — though there's no doubt it's a professional-sounding piece of work. A stunning track that dubs out guitar, beatbox, percussion and vocal harmonies. The B-side features an edit by MEDLER. The back of the sleeve carries the message: "Don't judge a record by its cover."
