FREAKY CHAKRA, the underground icon of the ’90s U.S. rave scene—active since the early ’90s and whose vast discography, including side projects, commands high prices—is making a comeback with a new release! This is the 10th release on 〈CRAYON〉, run by UK tech-house heavyweight MARK AMBROSE. Featuring the cosmic tech jam “Space Jam” (sample 1), with its mesmerizing, mystical, oriental harp-like keyboard sounds; and “Discotechno” (sample 2), which bounces along in a minimal yet punchy style with rubbery, elastic bass, soaring synths, and vocal samples.
