UK re-edit master THE REFLEX reworks a track by "WHO'S WHO," the project of DANIEL BANGALTER — the celebrated craftsman behind countless disco hits from the '70s into the '80s, and also well known as the father of DAFT PUNK's THOMAS BANGALTER. A masterful treatment featuring glamorous FX arrangements and dubby drums.

DANIEL BANGALTER, the Euro-disco legend who, under the name DANIEL VANGARDE, produced numerous hits such as OTTAWAN's "D.I.S.C.O." and GIBSON BROTHERS' "Cuba," and who also lent support during DAFT PUNK's early days! Here, a track from one of his projects, WHO'S WHO, gets reworked by the ever-reliable THE REFLEX, long beloved by top DJs like GILLES PETERSON. "Hypnodance" (1980), famed for its mystical Oriental melody, is beefed up with dubby mid-tempo drums, while the flip, "Palace Palace" (1979), evolves into something gorgeously psychedelic with cosmic arpeggios and more. The originals are kept fully intact while THE REFLEX adds his own distinctive brilliance. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
