A steady, unhurried atmosphere; a sustained groove carefully woven over time. Electronic sounds, percussion, and click noises emerge one after another. An hour of sonic exploration, focusing your auditory attention on the shape of each individual sound. After nearly two years, COMPUMA’s new mix, *Jimoku*, has arrived! From the layering of sounds to the soundscapes, the minimalist arrangement is permeated with a fanatical attention to detail.
COMPUMA—known not only as a DJ, buyer, and computer wizard of “Devil’s Swamp,” but also, in recent years, as a composer forging his own unique path in the world of electronic sounds—has finally released his long-awaited new mix! Rather than “minimal,” it’s closer to “flat”—a cohesive groove meticulously pieced together from a wide range of styles, spanning vintage synthesizer music to avant-garde techno and tribal sounds. An approximately one-hour sonic exploration where you can listen closely to individual soundscapes—sound elements that tickle the senses and stand out precisely because of the consistent mood.
