mama!milk(ママ・ミルク)
生駒祐子(アコーディオン)、清水恒輔(コントラバス)によるプロジェクト。
1999年1stアルバム発表以降、京都を拠点に創作と演奏活動を重ねている。
多彩なアンサンブルで録音されたアルバム『Fragrance of Notes』『Charade』『your voice』の楽曲が世界各地で親しまれ、映像や舞台作品への楽曲提供も多い。
一方、寺院、庭園、美術作品、工場跡など演奏空間の特性に応じて作編曲されるサイト・スペシフィックな公演も好評を博しており、そのライブレコーディングに『Latitude』の他、海辺の廃墟で録音された『Quietude』があげられる。
この空間、こんな風に音が響くなんて、おもしろいね、と作った組曲を、あの日、ポツポツ降ったり止んだりする雨を聴きながら弾いていました。傘をさしてもらったマイクが記録していた現象が、こうして手渡せるアルバムになって嬉しいです。（生駒祐子/mama!milk）

On October 7, 2006, Recorded during a performance at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, this album features 14 tracks from a landmark live recording that laid the foundation for his current performance style. It captures a classical chamber music-like atmosphere and soundscape, blending Argentine tango and avant-garde ambient jazz in a unique and unparalleled balance.
Incorporating the mechanical creaking of Pierre Bastian and the kitschy charm of Pascal Comrade, this music appears nostalgic, elegant, and refined, yet conveys a sense of clumsiness, chaos, and friction, a collection of soundscapes that feels like a soundtrack to a luminous future, carrying an air of graceful decadence and lyrical nostalgia.
