Following her collaboration with Drew McDowall of Kali Malone, she is partnered with Laurel Halo and Tamio Shiraishi, a Brooklyn-based cellist/composer/sound artist from France who has collaborated with many artists on releases for Open Mouth, Boomkat, and Hanson, among others. This album was recorded live in one take at the Abbey of St. Théodule in Switzerland, where Ellen Arkbro's "Nightclouds" was recorded and where Keiji Haino has also performed. Malone plays organ and sine wave, Bordeleuille plays cello and feedback, and the layers of sound are layered with minute changes and uncertainty, taking on the sounds of church bells echoing in the distance and motorcycles passing by. The rhythm of sustained sounds, like breathing pulsating in the chapel space, is austere and ceremonial, yet full of life. The aerial dialogue between the instruments as vibrating bodies is timelessly wonderful. (Original Japanese text by Adachi)
