The debut EP from the house duo NATURAL RHYTHM—comprising THOMAS WHITE and PETE WILLIAMS—and a label masterpiece, has now been reissued! Not only is “Original Jive” (sample 1)—a masterpiece where jazz-infused keys with mesmerizing, flowing fingerwork meet a smoky, heavy funk bassline and smooth drumming—a standout, but the rework “Dub Drums” (sample 2), which isolates the drums and transforms them into a solid, minimal tool, is also fantastic.
