The second installment in three years of "HERITAGE," the series focused on his own roots in Belgian new beat! A new work from INNERSHADES, the charismatic figure sweeping the modern scene. It revives the style of the early '90s, when genre boundaries blurred and music crossed freely between them, while also absorbing Detroit-style sci-fi elements — hypno-techno works driven by hypnotic, acid-laced leads.
Releasing widely across alternative lines like 〈BELTERS〉 and 〈CRÈME ORGANIZATION〉 as well as electro frontlines such as 〈CABARET〉 and 〈TIME PASSAGES〉, new-era new beat icon INNERSHADES steers his own imprint 〈ALTERED CIRCUITS〉, at the cutting edge of body music — and here's a release from it! "Fuse Memory" (sample1) pairs springy 909s and dark keys with a 303 that gradually creeps in. "System Breakdown" (sample2) gains weight from its restrained tempo, working alongside dark leads straight out of new beat. Rather than simply reissuing history, this uses it as a detonator for new movement.
