Musician SEAMUS CATER, known for his work on the experimental Lebanese labels *ANNIHAYA RECORDS* and *ANOTHER TIMBRE*. And a unique collaboration with FREDRIK RASTEN, a Norwegian guitarist and improviser whose work with OREN AMBARCHI was also outstanding! A completely acoustic performance that captures the relationship between consonance and dissonance in a beautiful yet ephemeral way; tuned to just intonation to create warm harmonies. (Even sounds that seem metallic or electronic are entirely acoustic.) The music and vocals are meticulously crafted to resonate with one another. He infuses the pinnacle of 14th-century English folklore—including Seamus Heaney’s translation of *Beowulf* and the story of Pythagoras’ chance encounter with a blacksmith—with a poignantly beautiful tone.
