Following the first release—a selection of remixes from their debut album Breat To Break (1995) that generated significant buzz—this time the focus is primarily on their second album, Dub To Dub Beat To Beat (1996)! MILES J PARALYSIS, who has been carving out a unique path in the UK experimental dance scene, has taken “Subconscious (Miles J Paralysis Re-Edit)” (sample 2) and transformed it into a beautifully stretched-out, acid-tinged trip, while retaining the original’s deep, immersive groove. London-based VANITY PROJECT, who are also active as drummers, take the original half-stepper track and present “Reality Dub (Vanity Project Re-Edit),” an arrangement that amplifies the sway with live dub and adds a psychedelic twist.
