The first release in the dark and introspective new vinyl series “Blue Series,” launched by the Budapest-based concept label “Blue Sun.” This is the second release—and first physical release—from Virág Réti, who began her career in 2024 and has been quietly gaining prominence in the Hungarian experimental electronic music scene. Taking as its starting point memories of watching the flow of time by the riverbank as a child, this electronic “ambient” work is structured to trace the passage of a day. It begins with the sounds of early morning and gradually evolves into rhythm-driven tracks with increasingly defined contours. The track titles feature the names of local flora and fauna, presenting an organic space that feels like a connection to nature, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.
