Weird tech house treasures reissued with finely chopped and comfortably swaying percussion, sample inserts, and fill-ins for a trippy effect! Modern house/electro mainstay KALAHARI OYSTER CULT's latest series of releases from offshoot MINERAL CUTS, which focuses on rare techno reissues. Both sides weave a minimal groove with a high holding power, while dizzying hooks and effects are dropped on both sides, a dangerous trick.
Track List

This series of 10 and 11 albums focuses on the catalog of GRAYHOUND RECORDINGS, a legendary West Coast label headed by DJ GARTH! E.B.E. by LUCAS JAMES RODENBUSH, an electronic musician who would later earn a bachelor's degree in music technology, released "Held Over" (sample 1) from "The Incidental Tourist EP" in 1999. The song is a trippy tech house piece that mixes samples in a collage-like manner with the lively percussion. The flip side is "The Other" (sample 2) from ADAM TENENBAUM's NECTAR label, also featured on Catalog No. 11, a minimal tech house monster with a funky bass loop and subliminally tripping electronic inserts.
