Centered around layered Latin percussion and hypnotic, undulating basslines, the boogie track “Mr. Coconut” (sample 1) unfolds with a gentle progression and Balearic warmth, featuring a great interplay between comical lead synths and guitar. The synth boogie-funk track “Goodbye” (sample 2), inspired by 1970s Italian library music, is also fantastic, with its unique, coughing-like vocals.
