From 〈AUSTERE〉—which has made a comeback after a long hiatus and has since been steadily releasing high-quality tracks—the label’s main artist, deep house master LAAK, is back with a long-awaited new release. “Imbricate Time” (sample 1) harmonizes drum percussion with an acoustic, hand-played texture, a deep, resonant bassline, and a sentimental synth refrain.
