Mysterious’s *SORRY WE PLAY VINYL* has already arrived—a new release! As expected, the standout track is “a1” (sample1), where Spanish samples cut through indigenous tribal percussion; the thick, hypnotic, reverberating percussion groove is downright dangerous. The B-side of this release also features tribal essence: “b2” (sample2) collages vocals and melodies over bouncy, percussive drums. Personally, I’m really into “b1” (sample3), the only track on this release that takes a synth-disco route—a cosmic tool.
