A new release from “Disko Universal,” which started as a sort of sub-label to Eddie C’s “Red Motorbike” with the Keita Sano VS Eddie C release! This is a solo release by Keita Sano. “Unfair Soundsystems” is an homage to disco and old-school house. A sleazy acid party track. It’s reminiscent of HARDFLOOR’s filter work rather than Chicago. Great sound. “Sunshine Needle” features a slowing-down screw break. (Saito)
The 'SoundSystem' is inherently woven into the human vessel, enduring through every epoch...be it the leaps of science, the rise of civilisation, or the eternal cycle of life and death. The music never ceases. Yet, much like the world we inhabit, the SoundSystem is inherently unfair; raw and devoid of absolute justice. From the sweat-soaked walls of the club and the sanctuary of the studio, to the solitude of a moving car, the embrace of the great wilderness, and the suffocating depths of the concrete jungle, every shifting landscape, every profound evolution, has been breathed into the fabric of this EP.
