A dream collaboration on the Detroit-based label AE RECORDINGS, helmed by THOR, OCTAL INDUSTRIES, and OHM! This collaboration between LUKE HESS—a leading talent in the Detroit scene—and Icelandic techno legend THOR came about following a studio session in Detroit and was produced after several days of intensive recording. From “Third Wave” (sample 1)—where soulful chords meet a tight, minimal groove—to “Induction” (sample 2), a dub-tech track that delivers a sharp yet deep sense of drive, these deep dance productions showcase the chemical reaction between the artists’ respective roots!
