Ben "Cozmo D" Cenac began his career with Newcleus, the legendary pioneers of '80s boogie and electro, and is still beloved today for his masterpiece "Jam On It" and his work with groups like Push/Pull and Dream 2 Science during the '90s underground house scene. "My Love Turns To Liquid," the 1990 single by Dream 2 Science that opens the album, is being reissued on vinyl by Rush Hour Rss.
Track List
Included are “My Love Turns To Liquid (Original Mix),” “My Love Turns To Liquid (Warm Water Mix),” and “My Love Turns To Liquid (Padapella),” which were originally featured on the 12-inch release at the time. The B-side features an unreleased version by Cozmo D. I’m blown away by the brilliance of the sequencing, the soundscapes, and the sound design, as well as the hypnotic, smoky, underground vibe. A must-have 12-inch reissue for fans of the classic “Cozmic House EP” released under the Cozmo D moniker. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
