SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL’s signature abstract dub-infused psychedelia merges with LOW END ACTIVIST’s meticulously crafted heavy bass—an unconventional collaboration that has produced this experimental left-field dancehall “grime masterpiece”! Recommended. A new release from “DIGITAL STING,” part of the Twin Cities-based unit/sound system “FEEL FREE HIFI.” It naturally features SKRSINTL’s signature, wildly playful collage work—drawing from VHS-era soundtracks and recordings from aging live sound systems.

A dream collaboration has come to fruition between the avant-garde dub and edit collage genius SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL and the project LOW END ACTIVIST by the genius PATRICK CONWAY—a collaboration that, frankly, couldn’t possibly turn out anything but amazing! Starting with “Muzikon I” (sample 1)—a track that features synth ambience and drifting melodies that lend a subtle sense of floating to the minimal, razor-sharp, bass-driven dancehall rhythms characteristic of LOW END ACTIVIST— “Muzikon I” (sample 1)—a track that kicks off this collection—features the signature sounds of both artists seamlessly fused into an experimental digidub “dancehall” and grime compilation. The result of repeated collage and deconstruction—there are simply no words to describe it other than “amazing.” (Original Japanese text by Akie)
