String instruments such as the zither, harp, and kemenche, layered with saxophone; ethereal poetry and vocals cutting through layers of sound that seem to sink deep into the earth. A collaborative single by FLORA YIN WONG—a leading figure in contemporary experimental music known for her work on *MODERN LOVE*, *PAN*, and *PORTRAITS GRM*—and saxophonist JERZY MĄCZYŃSKI. An avant-garde folk work rooted in folk tales spanning from Indonesia to Poland.

If you look back through their catalog, you’ll find nothing but groundbreaking releases and key artists who are creatively shaping the current scene—all from the vital Bristol-based collective 〈ACCIDENTAL MEETINGS〉, which continues to drive innovation in the scene! A collaboration between FLORA YIN-WONG, a London-based sound artist of Chinese and Malaysian descent, and JERZY MĄCZYŃSKI, a saxophonist from Poland. An experimental folk and contemporary work inspired by the folklore of their respective roots—demons emerging from the wind and unknown beings lurking in the forest. A sound that evokes a heavy, beautiful, and unique landscape, where vocals and poetry imbue the multi-layered textures created by various string instruments and saxophone with narrative, and guest vocals by AGA UJMA and LAILA SAKINI lend a sense of solemnity to the oppressive and somber soundscape.
