Veteran act LITTLE SEA—who have refined the progressive sound of 1990s Italy with a contemporary approach—make their debut on the long-established label BOSCONI RECORDS! Ripping basslines, hypnotic sequences, and breakdowns infused with electro elements. These powerful sonic elements are beautifully balanced with fantastical, Italian-style melodies and pads that create a sense of spatial depth.
Track List
A new release from 〈BOSCONI RECORDS〉, which has long been at the heart of the Italian scene—and has recently been making waves with reissues of works by Italo disco legend ALEXANDER ROBOTNICK! LITTLE SEA has been revolutionizing 90s Italian progressive music for over 20 years. From the opener “Minx” (sample 1)—which features powerful basslines interwoven with percussive drums and adorned with mystical synths—to the title track “Ritmo Divino” (sample 2)—which contrasts soft, expansive pad sounds with a highly hypnotic bass rush—the album uniquely reinterprets the signature blend of toughness and sweetness inherent to Italian progressive music for the modern era.
