JACKSON BAILEY, who has left an intriguing trail of work—from his album on CORNER STONE/EM RECORDS to his release on 〈HONEST JON'S〉, his collaboration with DJ SOTOFETT, and his release on TTT via REZETT, among others, His 2009 EP on JAHTARI via TAPES is now out of print. Given his connections to the PRINCIPE DISCOS scene in Portugal, his previous visit to Japan, and the new age/spiritual approach glimpsed in his recent release on GOOD MORNING TAPES, his future direction looks promising—but the roots of this lo-fi dancehall sound are truly unique as well.
