Four musicians rooted primarily in the club and dance music fields reconstruct dance music from a player's perspective, with improvisation as the central theme. An insanely cool album in which each member's individuality — taking in elements of house, disco, hip-hop, ambient and more — collides with and is sublimated by jazz, their shared common background. Incidentally, the cover is a studio photo from ECM, the label the members hold in the deepest reverence.
