Kicking things off is the aptly titled "Space Dancer" (sample1), a team-up between Berlin-based multi-artist K-CHICO — who handles major visual projects and also works as a photographer — and local duo SANDROW M, opening on a Balearic-pop funk beat before unfolding into an even kick. Also unique and fun is "Nuthin Wrong Here" (sample2) by beatdown jockey SCHERBE, which flips from clunky beat programming into emotional vocals that pull you right in, then switches to a disco beat in the second half. Sure enough, Germany too still has its share of oddball, offbeat, one-of-a-kind artists — a nice trilogy from the "uncanny valley"!
