"Music Is My Dope EP," the eighth compilation from FUNKY TOWN, a label headed by a New York-based disco producer going by the name MAW — easy to confuse with MASTERS AT WORK. Swedish veteran BEATFANATIC, who has released numerous edits on Raw Fusion, makes a long-awaited appearance with A2 "Tribute" (sample1), unfolding a light, bouncing funk beat, while West Coast master producer COLE MEDINA delivers B1 "Tribute" (sample2), a synthesizer disco cut with a Metro Area-ish feel and a deliciously heartstring-tugging melody — both highly recommended! Four tracks in all, every one of them titled "Tribute."
