SEAHAWKS, EL DIABLOS, and BJ SMITH remix tracks from the 1st single by DOS PALOS, the folky blue-eyed soul ensemble unit started by FAZE ACTION's Robin!

ROBIN LEE — one half of the FAZE ACTION brothers, the nu-disco duo active since the late '90s, who once lived in Osaka and is also known as one of the earliest members behind the launch of the AHB Orchestra — has teamed up with vocalist and multi-instrumentalist ED BEGLEY for a new project, DOS PALOS, and already a remix release from their 1st single is out! The remix by SEAHAWKS, the psychedelic chillwave unit of fellow UK veterans JOHN TYE & PETE FOWLER, adds analog synths, guitars and more to the original while working in dub mixes across all sorts of spectrums, resulting in a semi-instrumental that's great for listening: "I've Been Around (Seahawks Ultra Remix)" (sample1)! EL DIABLO, also a member of the Piccadilly staff, delivers a version that likewise blends in with the original, softly mixing in claps and synths: "Lady Of The Westway (El Diablos Remix)" (sample2). And label boss B.J. SMITH changes the mood with fresh mid-range string arrangements and added kicks, crafting an even more emotional long track clocking in at over 10 minutes.
